"(Music therapy) can make the difference between withdrawal and awareness, between isolation and interaction, between chronic pain and comfort -- between demoralization and dignity."
Barbara Crowe
Personalized Attention for All Your Needs
Music therapy is a creative arts therapy that utilizes all aspects of music (both receptive and creative) to work on non-musical goals. This type of therapy is easily adapted to each client’s needs even within a session, and can be beneficial for people of all ages and abilities. Music therapy does not require any experience in or knowledge of music, as it is more about the process than the end result. As board certified music therapists, we strive to establish a nurturing client-therapist relationship, allowing for a safe environment in which clients can feel comfortable expressing themselves in alternative ways.
